Roads lay a city's groundwork. Without roads and streets there would only be barren, empty land.
Let me just share an observation I had when I came back here:
Developed Nation road system:
- 2 lanes, going opposite directions
- 2 parking lanes on either side for street parking
- 1 bike lane , may include this feature
- gutters/strip of grass
- 1-2 sidewalks
Baranggay ** road system:
- 2 lanes, --- magsiksikan na kayo jan lahat!!!! Pedestrians, street parking, passing cars, no designated stops for public transportation, construction equipment
